Board-certified podiatrist Shweta Raina, DPM, brings considerable experience in podiatric medicine and orthopedic surgery to New York City Ankle & Foot. She is currently seeing patients at two locations in Jackson Heights and Woodside, Queens.
Dr. Raina graduated from the prestigious four-year podiatric residency at New York Presbyterian-Queens in Flushing, New York.
Dr. Raina is board certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. She also holds an Advanced Ankle Surgery Certificate. She is a member of AO Trauma.
Dr. Raina specializes in advanced reconstructive surgical techniques for sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, and limb deformities, such as:
-Bunionectomy and hammertoe surgery.
-Flat foot and cavus foot reconstruction surgery.
-Ligament and tendon augmentation/repair procedures such as Achilles tendon repair and chronic ankle instability repair.
-Foot and ankle fracture surgery.
